!SECTION¶

Specifies the local coordinate system of a section and the formulations for first-order hexahedral elements (element type 361), first-order tetrahedral elements (341), and beam elements (611). For guidance on selecting an element formulation, see Function Reference: Element Library.

Parameters¶

SECNUM = !SECTION input-order number in the mesh data
ORIENTATION　=　Local coordinate system name
FORM361 = FBAR (Default for nonlinear analysis)/IC (Default for linear analysis)/BBAR/FI/UP
FORM341 = FI (Default for ordinary first-order tetrahedral elements)/SELECTIVE_ESNS(smoothed element)
FORM611 = EULER (Bernoulli-Euler beam, Default)/TIMOSHENKO (Timoshenko beam)
